Chairing for Good is the brainchild of Patrick McWhortor. A seasoned nonprofit executive and serial nonprofit board member, McWhortor has led dozens of nonprofit organizations and counseled hundreds more. He founded and led the Alliance of Arizona Nonprofits for 10 years, growing it to 1,000 members statewide. He was the Chair of the Board for the National Council of Nonprofits. He teaches courses on nonprofit leadership and management at Arizona State University. And he has served on many local nonprofit boards, both small organizations and large, in Arizona. A graduate of Arizona State University, McWhortor has lived in metropolitan Phoenix for 40 years.
